For everyday office work, 4GB of RAM will do. For Engineering programs, Videos & Photography Editing, and light gaming we recommend not less than 8GB of RAM. if possible go for 16GB and more.

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Tower supports Gen 9 Intel Core technology. The i9 has 8 cores and 16 threads. CPUs often used with this model are Core i3 9100, Core i5 9500, and Core i7 9700.

This model has 4 RAM slots. This should be sufficient for anyone especially for power users who will need significant amounts of RAM. The motherboard of the HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Tower supports RAM speeds of up  2666 MT/s and a maximum of 128GB of RAM.
