For everyday office work, 4GB of RAM will do. For Engineering programs, Videos & Photography Editing, and light gaming we recommend not less than 8GB of RAM. if possible go for 16GB and more.

The HP ProDesk 400 G6 SFF supports Gen10 Intel Core technology. 10th Gen is more energy-efficient than the previous generation because it uses 10nm instead of 14nm of the previous cores. CPUs often used with this model are Core i3 10100, Core i5 10500, and Core i7 10700.

This model has 4 RAM slots. This should be sufficient for anyone especially for power users who will need significant amounts of RAM. The motherboard of the HP ProDesk 400 G6 Small form factor supports RAM speeds of up to 3200 MT/s and a maximum of 128GB of RAM.
